STELMA Technical Societe Anonyme, with mark designation STELMA T.S.A., was legally incorporated on January 2003 and is the continuation of the company STELMA ANTIRUST SURFACE PROTECTION Ltd, which was converted to a Public Limited Liability Company.
STELMA Ltd was founded in 1990 in Thessaloniki, by Mr Eleftherios Mamantzis and the field of its activities focused on surface anticorrosion protection. The expedience of the establishment of STELMA Ltd, which was preceded by the establishment of PROSEP Ltd in 1980, always with the decisive participation of Mr. Eleftherios Mamantzis, was necessitated by the need to set up a modern company, capable of rendering high quality surface protection services, in compliance with international standards, and to cater not just for the needs of the domestic market, but also of the markets of neighboring and other countries, such as the countries in the Balkans, France, the countries in Eastern Europe, as well as Arab nations.
Based on the knowledge, experience and know-how of its founder, STELMA managed, through its continuous efforts and careful planning, to emerge as a successful company, which possesses up-to-date equipment and facilities, remarkable personnel, distinguished for its excellent scientific training, extensive knowledge of their field of expertise and many years of experience. STELMA has executed many important projects for its clients, which include the largest construction and industrial companies, both domestic and international.
In the context of the conversion of STELMA Ltd to STELMA T.S.A. the objective of the company in the articles of association was extended, and now includes, besides surface protection / industrial insulation also electro-mechanical and construction-building works.
