Since 2004, STELMA T.S.A. specializes in acid-proof thermoplastic treatment using high-density polyethylene (HDPE) systems, polypropylene (PP) and other thermoplastic materials (PVC, etc.). For this purpose, the company’s personnel has been trained and certified on thermoplastic welding on the premises of the German company STEULER-KCH, one of the largest manufacturers of such materials in the world. Our successful and multi-year partnership with the German firm led, in 2013, to the assignment to our company of the exclusive representation of STEULER-KCH’s thermoplastic products for Greece. STELMA T.S.A. has successfully executed a large number of projects of thermoplastic protection – plasticization – sealing on HCL/NaOH,/H2SO4/NH4 neutralization tanks, safety basins, residue discharge channels, underground concrete chemical/petroleum product reservoirs, wastewater washers, filters for industrial wastewater treatment systems, etc. Its main Client has been the Public Power Corporation SA – Hellas, both in the Northern Sector and on the Greek islands, which call for special environmental protection due to the proximity to coastal environment.
In addition to the execution of such projects, STELMA T.S.A., building on its credibility with its Clients and the knowhow and technical support of STEULER-KCH, has also entered the trading sector with the German firm’s equipment and products.It has already provided sulfuric acid (PVC) tanks for the Power Production Plants of Amyntaio and Aghios Dimitrios, sea water filters (PE) to the Islands Directorate of PPC, protective sieve boxes (PP) for the aspiration of desulphurization absorber to the Power Station of Meliti, metal support frames (Alloy C276/2.4819) for sieve boxes, etc.
